CCTV (closed-circuit television) is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed but are monitored, primarily for surveillance and security purposes. CCTVrelies on strategic placement of cameras, and observation of the camera's input on monitors somewhere.CCTV relies on strategic placement of cameras and private observation of the camera's input on monitors. The system is called "closed-circuit" because the cameras, monitors and/or video recorders communicate across a proprietary coaxial cable run or wireless communication link.CCTV Installation packages include: Site assessment by engineer for optimum camera placement. Routing of cables from cameras to power points and back to the DVR. The installation of a pre-purchased CCTV kit or individual components from Maplin. Configuration of DVR system.
Course Objectives
•You will learn the key concepts used in CCTV and digital video like lighting, picture formation, resolution, bandwidth calculation etc.

•You will understand the CCTV system design process including CCTV survey and various CCTV applications.
